"The best satire, commentary, resistance information, and angry rants. Huge. Tremendous. Everyone agrees." - Donald J. Trump

The Real Caravan of Rapists and Thieves Carrying Disease

Immigrants bring more revenue to the economy than they cost us. If you want to talk about immigrants as rapists and murderers, you have to look back to European settlers, who committed genocide against the native population.

Trump's grandfather was an immigrant who begged for exception to immigration law to get his family into the country. Clearly, his offspring are liars, crooks, and guilty of sexual assault. I don't know about disease, but clearly some sort of strange disease would explain the way Trump acts and looks.

Christian Values

Supported by Christian conservatives and their Republican allies:

  • Torturing and murdering a journalists who stand up against repressive regimes, because it would cost us a weapons deal
  • Taking money from veterans to fund a tax cut for the rich
  • Taking money from the poor, disabled, and elderly to fund a tax cut for the rich
  • Defending rapist frat boys and mocking their victims
  • Defending neo-Nazis and white supremacists, and beating or murdering those who stand against them
  • Racism
  • Misogyny
  • Homophobia (I know the old testament is against homosexuality, but Christ said, "let he who is without sin cast the first stone"
  • Child molesters (remember Ray Moore?)
  • Supporting tyrannical dictators
  • Suppressing votes of minority and poor voters
  • Refusing to help victims of natural disasters
  • Selling hatred and divisive rhetoric
  • Taking healthcare from 24 million people
  • Attacking civil rights of almost every disadvantaged group
  • Locking immigrant children in cages and giant, for-profit tent camps; failing to take steps to reconnect the children with their parents
  • Pushing people into a for-profit prison system, for...well...profit
  • Unnecessarily polluting the soil, water, and air
  • Institutionalized lies, deception, and propaganda to the point that basic facts are now irrelevant in politics
  • Mongering hatred towards liberals, woman, minorities, immigrants, and almost every other non-white, Christian group
  • Refusing birth control to women, then refusing abortions, then refusing healthcare or financial support for the children you forced to be born -- ensuring a swath of children with preventable health and developmental issues.
  • Supporting greedy billionaires over those in need
  • Supporting rhetoric that leads towards violence against women, immigrants, and minorities

Basically, if you call yourself a "Christian" and a "conservative" you have two choices: 1) stop supporting Republicans, the alt-right, and Fox News, or 2) quit desecrating everything that Christ (as presented by the Bible) stood for, and admit that you represent opposite of what Christ stood for.

One of the few things that Christ (as presented in the Bible) was actually "hateful" towards was hypocrisy. If you are a conservative Christian supporting Republicans and the mainstream religious right, and you are correct that Christ is the Son of God, there is a special place in hell waiting for you. But hey, you got to spend some years feeling powerful by supporting evil people who pandered to the worst part of your character. I really hope you are right about God and enjoy an eternity of hellfire, you fucking hypocrite.

People Should be Terrified by the Normalization of Right Wing Hate Groups

It hasn't been since the KKK briefly entered mainstream politics a century ago that violent, extremist, racist hate groups have been supported and accepted like this on a national scale.

These groups cry "free speech" as they try to intimidate others. They claim to be non-violent while enacting the murder of socialists.

Trump and the alt-right support them, pander to them, and make excuses for them.

In a time when right-wing hate violence is on the rise, the Justice Department has removed white-nationalists from their watch list, choosing to focus on "black identity extremists" (a term manufactured to pretend that groups like Black Lives Matter are more dangerious than neo-Nazis).

But those aren't the main reasons to be terrified.

Be terrified because mainstream Republicans and mainstream conservative media no longer speak against these groups. They no longer do a guilty denial that these groups support them. They are bringing these groups into the fold. Like Hitler and Mussolini, they are using these groups as body guards, pulling these groups in to their party, and making excuses for them. They are hosting events for them, like they just hosted the Proud Boys in New York.

Worse, between the alt-right, Fox News, Trump, and now mainstream Republicans, they are twisting the dialog about white supremacists, neo-Nazis, and other right-wing hate groups.

Conservative talking points, from right-wing blogs to the Whitehouse to TV news, are selling the false equivalence that liberal protesters and right wing hate groups are the same. They say that fascists (who promote violence, discrimination, and totalitarianism) and anti-fascists (who exist as a group only to fight fascism) are they same.

Now, they are expanding to blame Democrats for right-wing violence.

If you read the comments on any article about the Proud Boys or similar groups, you will see that a lot of moderates have bought into their racist propaganda. You will hear that antifa is the same as the fascists they fight, because they both use "fascist tactics". You will hear that unarmed protesters deserve to be beaten or killed for "inciting" hate groups or "infriging on their free speech".

I am not saying we will turn to a fascist state, but this is not a "potential sign of fascism". This is fascism - pulling hate groups in the mainstream politics to bolster those in power, while intimidating and delegitimizing the opposition.

The fact that average Americans are more upset about those opposing hate groups than the hate groups should terrify everyone.

At best, it will normalize increased violence and reduce people's ability to protest Trump's racist, lawless administration. More innocent people of color will be attacked. More liberal protesters will be attacked. More houses will be burned for having liberal lawn signs. And racists will be handed the microphone by mainstream conservatives.

At worst, it is a bold step on the road towards democracy giving way to tyranny. All to the cheers of Fox New viewers and disaffected internet trolls crying "freedom!"

Susan Collins Frankly Defends Her Kavanaugh Vote

Susan Collins is known for being willing to vote against her Republican colleagues and Trump’s agenda. Her decision to vote in favor of Brett Kavanaugh assured his confirmation, and her speech explaining her decision was called “a travesty”, “selling out all women”, and “a butt-licking condescension that evaporated what little integrity Collins and her Republican colleagues had left.”

In a private email to an upset female friend, obtained through satirical sources, Collins frankly defends her actions.

“You may say that I have sold out victims of abuse and due process of law– that we could have delayed the confirmation and done a proper investigation, or we could have chosen any one of dozens of other arch-conservative candidates without these issues, and you are right, but we are dealing with much more important issues.”

“We have issues like poverty. 43 million Americans live in poverty. That is not nearly enough. Each American not in poverty represents money that could be given to the wealthiest Americans, also known as Republican donors.”

“And that is where Kavanaugh is key. While there are many conservative judges we could force onto the court – Brett Kavanaugh style – Brett Kavanaugh’s positions on executive power are nearly unique. Within a few years, through gerrymandering, voter suppression, Russian meddling, and Fox News propaganda, we may have such a lock on the country that we are unstoppable; but now, there is a very real risk the democrats could gain control in November. If we lose Trump – and possibly Pence – to the Russia investigation, we will could lose our rubber stamp in the White House.”

“We are working on another tax cut for the super-rich. There are rich people who cannot afford a private jet parked in every city that they own homes. It is critical we redirect more money from the poor and middle-class to help the struggling rich. This is more important than rape. It is the only sort of rape that matters – raping the country for the rich.”

“Social security and Medicare still exist. You may not understand that these programs are self-funded by payroll taxes, and that these taxes are special – they are regressive taxes that affect the poor more than the rich. It is critical that we bankrupt these programs to give even more money to the rich. Anything else would be un-American.“

“And don’t forget that I just got a one-million-dollar ad campaign by voting for Kavanaugh. Dr. Ford wasn’t offering a million dollars. And now, I don’t have to worry about a Russian agent slipping me some Polonium.”

As always these days, we need to clarify that this post is satire. Susan Collins didn’t say any of this. We sincerely doubt she is that honest, even with her friends. We live in a time when satire sounds like reality, and reality sounds too insane to even be satire. We’re not trying to be fake news, and although this sounds like something an honest Republican should say, no, it is just us making fun of their hypocrisy. Have a nice day.

The (R) Stands for Rape

The Republican Party is the Party of Rape. Rapists. Rape apologists. Bullies who stand up for racists. But especially, men who justify, minimize and deny rape for political gain. When you see that (R) next to someone's name, just remember, it stands for "Rape".

"If it’s a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to shut that thing down.” - Todd Akin (R)

"If a woman has (the right to an abortion), why shouldn’t a man be free to use his superior strength to force himself on a woman?" - Lawrence Lockman (R)

"I would hope that when a woman goes into a physician, with a rape issue, that that physician will indeed ask her about perhaps her marriage, was this pregnancy caused by normal relations in a marriage, or was it truly caused by a rape." - Chuck Winder (R)

"Most of the alleged victims were not raped: they were groped or otherwise abused, but not penetrated, which is what the word ‘rape’ means.” - Bill Donahue (R)

“Well, you know, if you read the Bible, there’s actually a couple circumstances where that happened, The Lord uses all circumstances. I mean, you can go down that path, but it’s a reality unfortunately.” - George Faught (R)

And now we have every conservative politician and pundit saying "boys will be boys" or that trying to rape someone who escapes before penetration isn't sexual assault.

Stop Talking About Zina Bash, but Also Stop Defending Her

A favorite tactic of the Alt-Right is to get a reaction from the left, then play innocent and say liberals are crazy and reactionary. Whatever Bash is up to, liberals and media are playing into this tactic. But stop saying she can’t be a racist because she is of Jewish and Mexican ancestry. Her professional history shows that she is willing to betray and hurt people of her heritage, as well as damage women’s rights.

John McCain Dies at 81

He was not the political hero that some liberals made him out to be just for opposing Trump, but he was a rare Republican who sometime put his conscience above party, he was a real war hero, and sometimes he was a bit of a rebel. Rest in peace, John.

Dem Rep: Trump team has ‘pattern of forgetting’ about contacts with Russia

Of course. To the corrupt billionaires that are and fund the Trump administration and other major Republicans (and some Democrats), countries no longer matter. Putin and Russian oligarchs are just other members in the corrupt billionaires club, manipulating the world to a new feudalism where the rich are above the laws, and little things like constitutions, rights, and the rule of law are not an issue.

Out of Control on Contraception

An excellent article and a great picture, but it misses a key point: the illogical combination of being anti-abortion and anti-contraception is not merely to domain of religious extremists. It is also part of the broader conservative ideology because it is about controlling female sexuality.

Many of the plans that will now be able to drop birth control from their coverage will cover Viagra. A huge portion of conservatives, while objectifying women and justifying rape, still want to shame and punish women for having sex with partners of their choosing. This is not about protecting babies, it is about attacking women

Anti-fascism

The Lies about Antifa

Antifa – a contraction of “anti-fascist” – is consistently and unfairly equated with the violent racists they fight. Conservatives are regularly call Antifa “fascist”. The ironic comparison is ludicrous and manipulative.

Why are They Making Excuses for Nazis

If Inglorious Bastards or Django Unchained were released today, there would be a wave of alt-right apologists complaining the films were offensive to Nazis and white supremacists. Fox News would echo them. Trump would join in on Twitter. Conservatives would start standing up for the poor mistreated Nazis.

When did these Nazis and slavers become anything other than something to fight and disdain? We fought wars to defeat each of them. We won. We were proud. We fought them because they were the enemies of freedom, and because they hurt and killed innocent people. Nothing has changed. Nazis and wannabe-Confederates should be opposed at every turn. It is not a liberal or conservative issue. It is not a fight between Nazis and the imagined alt-left. It is a conflict Nazis and everyone else.

Black Lives Matter for Dummies

"We are committed to collectively, lovingly and courageously working vigorously for freedom and justice for Black people and, by extension all people. As we forge our path, we intentionally build and nurture a beloved community that is bonded together through a beautiful struggle that is restorative, not depleting." Black Lives Matter

Terms: The Alt-Left

There is no "alt-left'. The term is a fabrication of conservatives to make alt-right Nazi extremists more palatable, by inventing an imaginary group of equivalent extremists on the left.

Call it what it is - fascism

I support the freedom of speech, even of neo-Nazis, but this isn't about freedom of speech, it is about intimidation and inciting riots, and these people are not some tame sounding "alternative right", they are fucking white supremacists and fascists.
